Fare Calculations

Leep Riders may pay through the Leep Platform or Credit or Cash.

Drivers pay calculation begins when riders are in your vehicle, and riders tapped on their unique code that starts their trip in the app.

Driver pay includes minimum fare, starting when the driver taps that they have arrived.

The Leep fare includes

Base fare: The number of passengers pays to start a ride.

Cost per mile: This is the amount based on your city where your ride originated.

Cost per minute: This the amount based on the region/city where your ride originated.

These amounts may be found in the city guide for your region. This guide will display your local pricing.

When do I get Paid?

Leep will process payments on Wednesdays. It may take your bank 2-3 business days to process the deposit into your account.

If unable to process the deposit in your bank, Stripe will attempt again on the next working day.

Please make sure your updated information is in the Leep Platform to process your deposit promptly.

Instant Pay If you would like to cash out your credit card earnings before the usual weekly deposit, you may do so as often as you would like. Your instant pay is subject to fees, as described in the Driver Agreement. Processing time is subject to your bank; it may take hours or a few days to be available to you.

Earning that are eligible Ride earnings and referrals are eligible for Instant Pay, that is not subject to conditions in the Driver Agreement such as cash taken as booking fees, or other fees owed to Leep. Some promos might not be accessible because they require more calculations that will happen after the promo time is over.

Why were one or more rides excluded from Instant pay? Here are the most common reasons a trip isn't immediately available for Instant Pay:

  • The passenger hasn't submitted payment yet. Ride payments must be submitted before we can process them for Instant Pay.
  • We're legally prevented from including the ride with Instant Pay
  • The trip is under review (such as for a Terms of Service violation or unusually high fare)

Can I cancel an Instant Pay transfer? Once you cash out through Instant Pay, you can't cancel the transaction. 

Is there a limit to how much I can cash out with Instant Pay? There is currently no limit on how many times you may cash out using Instant Pay. (be advised there is a fee of 0.50 cents for each transaction that's performed using the Instant Pay) there may be restrictions on how many transfers that your bank accepts on a daily bases. You may be restricted in using Instant Pay if Leep or Stripe determines that the account sees suspicious activity.  

How to set up and cash out using Instant Pay? In the app

  1. Tap 'Settings'
  2. Tap 'Payment Info'
  3. Tap the debit card under the 'Instant Pay' header to edit or set up payment info
  4. New debit cards: you must enter your debit card info before cashing out the first time. When you enter a new debit card, we'll send you a confirmation text. Follow the instructions to verify your new card. Tap' Edit' to update your card info before confirming your deposit. Always double-check your card info before cashing out.
  5. Tap 'Get paid' to transfer your earnings to your account. For Example, you must have $5.50 to cash out (at least $5 plus the $0.50 Instant Pay fee).

When you transfer, we may send you a text for security. Reply to the text if instructed so that we can begin the deposit process.

After you set up Instant Pay, it may take a few days for your banking info to be verified.
